INJUNCTIONS FOR PROTECTION/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
INJUNCTIONS FOR PROTECTION/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
An Injunction for Protection is the legal term given to the more commonly known name of restraining order. If you are married, have a child in common or live together, and are a victim of domestic violence or are in imminent danger of becoming a victim of domestic violence, you may petition the court for an injunction. At a hearing, the court will determine if you have met the criteria necessary to be granted the injunction.
